“I work at inflection points - when capable people outgrow the role they’re still playing”
I work at inflection points — when capable people outgrow the role they're still playing.
In early-stage businesses, this often appears as a growth plateau. The founder is working hard, carrying complexity, making every decision — yet momentum slows.
In careers, it shows up when someone is stepping into a more strategic role and realises their thinking must evolve before their title does.
That transition — from execution to architecture — is the focus of my work.
My background spans three decades across consulting, banking, and technology, including leadership, business ownership, and board roles. I have advised organisations at significant inflection points and built businesses of my own.
I have lived this transition myself. There was a point where I realised that what had made me effective — being across everything, driving execution, holding it all together — had become the ceiling. The shift from doing to directing is not instinctive. It has to be deliberate. It requires a new mindset.
That is what I help others navigate.
My work is structured, direct, and practical. I don't offer hype or generic frameworks. I provide disciplined thinking, honest challenge, and strategic perspective at moments where the stakes are real.
If you sense your role needs to evolve, you're likely right.
The question is whether now is the moment to shift it deliberately.
“Identity is built by behaviour.”
